Alexandria downs Granite City in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

Alexandria\’s Tyler Frischmon scored 58 seconds into overtime to beat Granite City, 5-4 (OT).

Alexandria got the win on the strength of a great game by Frischmon, who had two goals and two assists. Frischmon scored the first of his two goals at 14:02 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Alexandria. AJ Gullickson provided the assist. Frischmon\’s next tally made the score 5-4 Alexandria with 19:02 left in overtime. Tosten Mann picked up the assist.

Alexandria also got points from Gullickson, who also grabbed two goals and two assists to lead the team in points. Alexandria also got a goal from David Carey as well. Other players who recorded assists for Alexandria were Jack Cernohous, Jack Mellstrom, Ryan Marciniak, and Aaron Ryback, who each chipped in one.
