Granite City blows out Minnesota, 11-2

Granite City had a six-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 11-2 win over Minnesota.

Spencer Zwiener was all over the ice for Granite City, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Zwiener scored 1:25 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Granite City. Andrej Jamnicky provided the assist.

Granite City excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Minnesota was unable to stop Granite City from sending pucks towards the net, and Granite City eventually piled up 55 shots on goal.
