Granite City holds on for 5-4 win against Minnesota

The Minnesota Flying Aces tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Granite City Lumberjacks would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-4.

 Nick LaRue had two goals to lead the Lumberjacks to victory.  Granite City also got points from Zac Sikich, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Granite City got a goal from TJ Christenson as well. In addition, Granite City received assists from Aaron Azevedo, Riley Bengtson, Blayne Ellson, and Brian Richert, who contributed one a piece and Jake Peterson and Trevor Ness, who each chipped in two.

 Matt Grove recorded 25 saves for the Lumberjacks.
