Granite City rips Minnesota, 7-2

Granite City had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-2 win over Minnesota.

Granite City was led by Lucas Carroll, who had one goal. Carroll scored 1:39 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Granite City. Zack Cole picked up the assist.

Granite City forced Minnesota\’s goalies to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots and forcing 35 saves. Dakota McDonald made 19 stops and Brady Griffin made 16.
