Friday vs. Peoria Mustangs – 7-0 Win
Tyler Cayemberg and Nick LaRue each had a pair of goals to lead the Granite City Lumberjacks past the Peoria
Mustangs. Also scoring for the Jacks were Tyler Stoller, TJ Christenson and Zac Sikich. Peter Lindblad,
Ezra McPhail and Taylor Portner had 2 assists each.
Matt Grove had 17 saves to record the win in net.
Saturday vs. Peoria Mustangs – 6-1 Win
Ezra McPhail scored a pair of goals and was involved in a fight Saturday to lead the Granite City
Lumberjacks to a 6-1 win over Peoria. Blayne Ellson, Tyler Cayemberg, Aaron Azevedo and Peter Lindblad also
scored for the Lumberjacks. Taylor Portner had a a hand in 4 of theJacks goals, while Jake Peterson set up 2.
Goaltender Matt Grove made 14 saves to earn the win.
Sunday vs. Quad City Flames – 7-2 Win
Tyler Cayemberg’s hat trick led the Lumberjacks to a 7-2 win over Quad City. Taylor Portner added
two goals and two assists for the Jacks and T.J. Christenson and Peter Lindblad each added a goal.
Brian Richert assisted on 2 goals.
Matt Grove made 16 saves in the win.
