On Friday night, Lumberjacks goalie Scott Murray dressed with the Waterloo Blackshawks of the United States Hockey League as an emergency backup. The Lumberjacks team and staff attended the game in Waterloo to support Murray as they were making their way down to St. Louis for the weekend series against the Jr.Blues. "it was an opportunity most goalies do not get, and I appreciate the opportunity that the Waterloo Blackhawks had given me" stated Murray. "As an emergency goalie the chances to play are slim unless the goalie in front of you get's injured. Murray returned to the Lumberjacks after the game to compete in this weekend's series.
