Lumberjacks Add More Staff for the New Year

The Granite City Lumberjacks are proud to announce additions to their hockey staff in the New Year;

Tysen Azevedo has been hired as an assistant coach. Born and raised in Spokane, WA, Tysen is a great addition to the GCL staff. He will have practice, game, and recruiting duties in his role with the Jacks.

Brad Clayton has been hired as the Jacks Director of Western Scouting. Born and raised in Grand Rapids, MN, Brad brings a wealth of recruiting knowledge being a scout for the Dubuque Fighting Saints (USHL) and the Janesville Jets (NAHL).

Reed Larson has been hired as the Jacks Director of Eastern Scouting. Born and raised in Grand Rapids, MN, Reed bring scouting experience working in the NA3HL and MNJHL for the past 6 years. Reed played NCAA D3 College Hockey for Wisc Superior, winning the National Championship in 2002.
