Miller Lifts Jacks Over Breezy Point

The Granite City Lumberjacks relied on the scoring touch of Eric Miller, who netted two goals, to beat the Breezy Point North Stars, 6-3.

Miller scored at 19:55 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Granite City and again while on the power play 16:18 into the second to make the score 4-2 Granite City.

Breezy Point was unable to stop Granite City from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lumberjacks eventually piled up 41 shots on goal.

Granite City also got a goals from Aidan Verbeke, Brett Love, Zac Sikich and Ryan Carriveau.  Assists for Granite City came via Mattheu Raiola, who had two and Blake Phenow, Dakoda Menslage, Matt Peterson, Roy Grandov, Drew Otto, Mitch Humphries, and Aaron Storch, who each chipped in one.

Austin Wilson recorded 19 saves for Granite City.
